    Q: What is non ferrous metal?
    A: Non ferrous is any metal with no iron content such as Copper, brass, aluminum, and some grades of stainless steel.

    Q: Why is there a 5-day wait on payment for copper and catalytic converters?
    A: By Tennessee law, a 5 day payment delay of these items was mandated in an effort to eliminate theft.

    Q: What is the difference between #1 and #2 copper?
    A: Examples of #1 copper is copper pipe with no solder joints, bare copper wire larger than the dimension of a pencil lead..#2 copper would be soldered copper pipe or copper wire smaller than a pencil lead.

    Q: What if I am uncertain about what kind of metal I have?
    A: Our staff will assist you when you arrive at our yard. You may also call our office ahead and describe to us what you have to help you make a determination.

    Q: Do you buy air conditioning units?
    A: Yes. However we require a copy of your class IV business license or contractor’s license to do so.

    Q: What are your hours?
    A: We are open Tuesday through Friday from 8:00 am – 4:45 pm CST. Mondays and Saturdays we are open from 8:00 am – 1:45 pm CST.

    Q: Do you purchase cars?
    A: Yes. We by cars by weight.

    Q: Do you haul cars?
    A: Yes. We haul cars we purchase. Towing rates vary based on the distance from your location to our yard. Contact us to make arrangements.

    Q: Do you take aluminum cans?
    A: Yes. We purchase aluminum cans.

    Q: Are your prices always the same?
    A: Metal prices fluctuate all of the time. If you wish, call us for current pricing.

    Q: How do I know I am getting paid fairly?
    A: Our scales are periodically checked and certified by the State of Tennessee.
